BMW Repair Question : I have a rattle that seems to be emanating from the sunroof/moonroof area. Sounds like something is loose and rattles whenever I drive over a bump or patches of bumpy roads. The roads here in NYC are shot from this last winter and it seems like every road is bumpy – which means I’m driving around with an annoying rattle above my head all day long. I can’t seem to see or find anything loose with a visual inspection. Is there a way to open it up and check it out? Also, has anyone experienced something similar?
BMW Repair Answer : If I am not mistaken, there is an access panel towards the rear above the rear seats. You may wish to open that up and inspect the goods there.
